Standardized Assessment Test , are national exams taken by students in the Uk at the end of key stages in their education.

The main SATS are: 

1. KS 1 SATS: Taken at the end of key stage 1 (around age 7) , assessing English Reading, English Grammar , Punctuation and spelling and mathematics .

1. KS 2 SATS: Taken at the end of key stage 2  (around age 11) , assessing English Reading , English grammar , Punctuation and spelling , mathematics and Science .
